While other restoration companies may have to subcontract mechanical repairs, or take the boat elsewhere to run them, the Resort Boat Shop has everything necessary to run your job from start to finish. Our goal is to guarantee the quality of our work to all of our customers. When we are able to be with the boat during the entirety of the project, we know what’s going on with every step. We even have two 40,000 gallon test tanks, so we can literally launch a boat to a man-made pond to test the boat. There’s no extra transportation, and we can check the boats out on-site.
Our team specialized in antique and classic wood boat restoration services. Since 1999, when current owners took over the shop, The Resort Boat Shop has employed highly trained staff members, and we strive every year to continue to improve. Various employees have been with the company for over 15 years! Since all of our technical work comes from in-house, we know our technicians are trained exceed our clients’ high standards. We understand that each boat and project is different, so we have tried and true methods of completing each project to give us a consistent end result.
Over the past few years, we have begun to see more projects involving fiberglass boats from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. Over time, these boats begin to lose their gelcoat finish, and the wood structure starts to fail. Our paint and fiberglass shop specializes in these repairs and restorations, and are happy to assist our clients in any area.
So from antiques and classic wooden to fiberglass, our highly trained team can handle any job, from start to finish. Contact a representative today to get started with your next wood boat restoration project.
